Galatians 3:5-9
"He therefore that ministereth to you the spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Even as Abraham believeth God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham."
God plans for us to operate in the Kingdom of God, and the Bible is the Kingdom of God Book. Jesus lived by Kingdom principles, and He taught KINGDOM PRINCIPLES. There was a time when Jesus was walking on water (Matt. 14:22-30). Peter asked, "Lord if that's you, bid me to come" then Peter started walking on water, "KINGDOM PRINCIPLES."
There was another time when Jesus told His disciples to feed 5,000 gathered together. (Matt. 14:14-19). He knew that they didn't have a supply at hand to provide the people, but He would show them. How to operate in "KINGDOM PRINCIPLES." So someone said, thee is a lad here that has two fish and five loaves of bread. So he taught them how to feed multitudes when you don't have enough "KINGDOM PRINCIPLES."
What about the time He stopped the storm? What do you know in the natural that can stop a storm? But Jesus stopped it with words. Then He looked at His disciples and said, "Where is your Faith?" why didn't you do this? For Him to ask them why didn't they do this lets us know that He must have taught them how.
So God plans for you and me to walk and live by "KINGDOM PRINCIPLES."
When we look at this thought, Jesus came to reintroduce something called the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is the government of God that first appeared in the Garden of Eden.
Mark 1:14-15
"Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and saying, the time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand; REPENT YE, and believe the gospel."
Now Repent means: A change of your mind, A change of direction. Go the other way. And the reason you have to change the way you are going is that once Adam sinned, the Bible said satan became the God of this world.
II Cor. 4:3-4
"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the God of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
And satan has set up a system called "Babylon" and the system of Babylon is a world trying to meet its needs apart or without God, and that's why it's going the wrong way. the Bible says in Prov. 14:12,
"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."
So People go down that path. We will try things to see if they will work for us. We will try selling drugs to see if it will work. We will try this woman, or that man, to see if that will work for us. We will even try a certain attitude to see if that will work. People of God try things, and we get a lot of what doesn't work, trying to get to what does work. I remember preaching a message titled, "Try Jesus, You've Tried Everything Else" years ago.
And so Jesus came to reintroduce the right way for us to go because the Kingdom of God is really what every person is seeking. They are seeking Joy in their lives, Peace, and a relationship with God.
Romans 14:17 says,
"For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; [what feeds the flesh], but righteousness, and peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost."
